Pirate step by step

Hello there fellas! this is just a rough step by step on ''What are you supposed to be'' on how I do the do~

6. Draw a fugly bird that doesn't fit the concept.
7. Give up and erase the fugly bird and purposely draw a bird that doesn't fit the concept (honestly now, Toucans are pretty awesome).
And that is how I do the do, I imagine my methods might change over time as I am still a growing artist!
